Defzone helps its customers with a lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). This is because Defzone has no user licenses, no feature licenses, no update contracts, lower support costs, lower network documentation costs and lower energy costs.

1. No user licenses means that you do not pay per user and that all our products do not have any user limitation other then the capacity of the hardware itself. In most cases, with our competitors you buy a unit with 10 user licenses free and if you need more user licenses you have to buy them separately and pay more.

2. No feature licenses means that our products are always fully featured. You do not have to pay for extra features because they are already present in the unit. In most cases, with our competitors you buy a basic unit, but when you want additional features such as spam filtering or content filtering you have to pay for the feature coupled with the amount of users.

3. No update contracts means that updates are free. In most cases, with our competitors you have to pay yearly for receiving updates.

4. Installation and support cost will be lower, because you do not have to hire expensive support engineers or send your system engineers to expensive training courses to be able to use Defzone products. In most cases, with our competitors you have to send your people to a training course before they are willing to help you with the product.

5. Defzone's unique graphic presentation - the Netzone - gives you an actual overview of your network. Your network documentation has never been easier with a report generator that gives you the Netzone as well as all your settings in a single PDF document. In most cases, with our competitors there is no graphical representation at all and your people have to manually produce the network documentation.

6. Lower energy cost because we use as much functionality as possible in one unit so you need less physical hardware units. Defzone uses energy saving chips and Solid State Drives that consume less energy and produce less heat then conventional hard disk technology.  In most cases, with our competitors you have to buy a separate hardware unit with conventional hard disks for every function.

In this calculation we didn't include the higher cost of installation and support the hourly rates are between € 200 and € 350.
